Go Even Though
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was -going. Hebrews 11:8

Imagine God telling you to pack your bags, quit your job, leave your hometown, say goodbye to everything familiar, and start driving.
Your first question would probably be, "Okay, where am I going?"
And God's answer? "I'll tell you later."
That's essentially what happened to Abraham. When we read it in Genesis 12, it's easy to miss just how radical God's call was but the writer of Hebrews sums up Abraham's journey in one remarkable phrase: "He went, even though he did not know where he was going." (Hebrews 11:8)
Let's be honest. We don't like those kinds of callings. We want God's will like we want a GPS. We want the full route, the estimated arrival time, traffic updates, alternate routes, and maybe a few guarantees that everything will work out exactly as planned.
But faith doesn’t work that way.
Faith is often taking the next step when you can’t see the whole path. Sometimes God gives direction without explanation. He asks us to trust Him with a career move, a ministry opportunity, a difficult conversation, a major decision, a season of waiting, or circumstances that make no sense right now. And while we're asking for details, He's asking for our trust.
Maybe today you're standing at your own Abraham moment. You have questions. You want clarity. You want certainty. But maybe all God has given you is, “Go.” The good news is that God never asks us to go alone.
He has promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He doesn't just send us out; He goes with us.
He has promised us a hope and a future. Even when we can't see where the road is leading, He already knows the destination.
He has promised to prosper us and not harm us, to work His purposes and His goodness into our lives.
The reality is, God rarely reveals the entire plan because He's inviting us into a relationship where trust His heart even when we can't see His hand. Abraham didn't know the destination, but he knew the One leading him. And that was enough.
So if God is asking you to take a step of faith today, don't let uncertainty keep you standing still. Trust His presence. Trust His promises. Trust His heart. And go, even though…
