The Word says that we must love our enemies (Matt 5:43-44) which implies that there will be people that don't like you and even some that you don't like right back!
How do you love a person that you don't like?
The first key is to understand that Biblical love has nothing to do with how you feel! It’s not warm fuzzies. It’s not emotional chemistry. It’s not pretending you’re best friends. It’s a choice—a decision to treat others the way God treats us.
The Word says God so loved the world that He GAVE His only Son (John 3:16). Love gives. Love blesses. Love prays. Jesus said bless them that curse you, do good to those who hate you, pray for those who use you. Biblical love is not an emotion...it's a choice about how you treat others. Remember, that person that you don't like is still loved by God!
When you choose to love your enemy, you’re not just obeying Jesus – you’re reflecting Him.
